Website Terms of Use

Last updated 7 November 2026.

About these terms

These terms apply to your use of heegansecurity.co.uk. The website is operated by Heegan Security, a London-based security business run by a sole trader. By using the website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

Enquiries are not bookings

  • Sending an enquiry or a Book an Operative request does not create a booking or a contract, and does not guarantee that we can provide the service.
  • All services are subject to personnel availability and the requirements of each assignment. We will reply to discuss your request and confirm what we can provide.
  • An assignment is only agreed when both sides have confirmed the details, including dates, hours, staffing and price, in writing. Any assignment is then governed by the terms agreed for it, not by these website terms.
  • Please make sure the information you send is accurate and that you are entitled to share it.

Using the website

You may use the website for lawful purposes only. You must not:

  • send false, misleading, abusive or unsolicited (spam) messages through the forms;
  • try to gain unauthorised access to the website, its server or any connected systems;
  • introduce viruses or other harmful material, or attempt to disrupt the website, for example with automated or excessive requests.

We may block access to the website or its forms if we reasonably believe these terms are being broken.

Information on the website

The website gives general information about Heegan Security and its services. We work to keep it accurate and up to date, but it is not advice, and services, availability and other details may change. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of the website without notice.

Intellectual property

The Heegan Security name, logo and the content of this website belong to Heegan Security or are used with permission. You may view and print pages for your own reference, but you must not copy, modify or reuse them, including the logo, without our written permission.

Where the website links to other websites, such as the Information Commissioner’s Office, those links are for information only. We are not responsible for the content or availability of other websites.

Our liability

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot be limited or excluded by law.

Subject to that, the website is provided free of charge and “as is”. We are not liable for any loss arising from use of, or inability to use, the website or from reliance on its content. If you use the website for business purposes, we are not liable for loss of profits, sales, business or revenue, business interruption, or loss of business opportunity or goodwill.

Privacy

How we use information you send us is explained in our privacy notice.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they were last changed, and the version on this page applies when you use the website.

Law and contact

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over any dispute about them. Questions about these terms can be sent to privacy@heegansecurity.co.uk or through our contact page.
